Serena da Conceicao’s sophomore collection further solidifies leather, lace and lingerie detailing as trademarks of her namesake line. Serena’s Fall 2013 collection is powerful, sexy and timeless. I am always amazed by Serena’s ability to dress many different women while keeping her collection perfectly edited. For Fall, her signature print reads as her left hand tattoo written in Czech “if you’re looking for infinity, just close your eyes.” I don’t mind if I do. By introducing a peachy blush color to her original black and ivory color palette is proof that every season is an extension of the one before, making her clothes worthy of building your wardrobe around.
I was happy to help style Serena’s look book with our friend Steven Tibaudo. My must have picks for this collection are the tunics (one in leather and one in tulle, please) and the handcrafted leather jacket with lace sleeves. What is your favorite?
