DIY: Triangle Clutch

When it comes to clutches, I love them most when they come in modern shapes and quality materials. The shape of the Berlingot Céline Bag fits my mostly minimal aesthetic, so I thought it would be a perfect DIY for today. Using leather from my favorite leather source, the Leather Hide Store, I chose a sturdy optic white leather. I thought white would work best against my black wardrobe and leather is a more seasonless material than the felted wool of the original bags.

DIY: Envelope Clutch

This isn’t the first Clutch DIY featured on DeSmitten, but its been a while so I thought it needed a bit of an update. Envelope and fold over clutches are still a street style staple, and to catch the attention of the photogs  it’s all about the leather color and quality. I chose to use a mustard yellow suede (hint: I just used the back of the leather hide) and in the fashion of all things athletic, I used a perforated black leather for contrast.
