Last week we had a few inches of snow in New York and everyone’s mind automatically went to footwear. All it takes is one day of wading through slush puddles at every corner to make you realize it is time to invest in a proper boot to get you through the winter season. In the city, rain boots are often more functional than winter boots because the snow turns to slush within hours. Naturally, I’ve spent the past week researching boots that are both functional and fashionable. Luckily, at the moment “ugly shoes” are having a moment, so my standards for a “fashionable” winter boot is slightly skewed. Here are my top choices at the moment…
