Let’s take a minute to talk about the men in our lives and what they wear. My boyfriend Dermot is a jeans and t-shirt guy, through and through. He has fifteen pairs of the exact same Levi’s (black 514’s), but he hasn’t been able to find the perfect men’s t-shirt for years. He is a graphic designer, so the last thing he wants to wear are graphic tees. A plain t-shirt completes his “uniform” so to speak. It sounds simple enough, but as a tall man (he towers a foot above me at 6′ 3″) with a slim body, the boxy silhouettes and short lengths will not do. His only criteria:

1. Long, slim silhouette with a crewneck

2. Under $15 (but ideally under $10).

3. No pockets or graphics

Every time I came home with a new silhouette promising a slim silhouette and long length, it fell short, both literally and figuratively. We’ve played this game for years and it has finally come to an end. A few days ago, as we drove up the California coast, we stopped at San Clemente beach and wandered into the local skate shop, Republik of Kalifornia. This is where we discovered the perfect men’s t-shirt from Tavik. Not only did the Tavik t-shirts fit the criteria listed above, they were also sold in a 3-pack… it couldn’t be easier if I designed it myself. From us to you, thank you Tavik!
