Current Wish List

Over the past few months my mind continues to wonder about the evolution of personal style. We all go through some questionable fashion phases, but eventually we plateau at a point where we feel comfortable, sophisticated and age appropriate. I’ve nailed down my personal style over the past few years, and with my 30th birthday looming, I can’t help but make a wish list of elevated wardrobe pieces for this season. I’ve rounded up my current sartorial cravings, from updated basics to everyday essentials with a few out-of-my-budget extras thrown in.

J.W. Anderson neck tie shirt: J.W. Anderson is one of my favorite designers, and I’m hoping this season is the season to add a little J.W. to my wardrobe. I love the polished ease of this tie neck shirt.

Isabel Marant watch: While this isn’t my dream watch (in case you were wondering is a vintage Piaget), this Isabel Marant watch comes in second with at a fraction of the cost. Menswear inspired and timeless… pun intended.

Tibi fringe scarf: Oversized and light weight, this scarf is seasonless and versatile, two of my favorite traits in an accessory.

Saint James Meridien li top: A simple color mash up instantly refreshes the classic mariner tee. Navy blue and olive green classify this as the perfect new basic for Spring.

KARA Classic messenger bag: I like my bags how I like my dresses, without a lot of frills. Sarah Law designs KARA bags with a minimalist and timeless approach. The new messenger bag for Resort 2015 tops my list for this year’s new bag.

Acne Studios Serva belt: As you know, a simple black belt has been on my list for well over a year. This one from Acne Studios has an added D-ring loop to make it easy to wear with jackets that don’t have belt loops. Simple, effective design.

MNZ Roberta heels: Suede heeled ballerinas in an icy gray shade, is the perfect way to lighten up my otherwise dark wardrobe. I also love the Roberta heels in whiskey. Non-black shoes for Spring is a thing… you heard it here first.

Vetements jeans: I wear black jeans pretty much every day, so when Vetements designed a couture-esque pair (with a couture price tag) they immediately caught my eye. Frayed hems, intricate seaming details… this isn’t your average pair of jeans and I want them.
