October Design Inspiration

My October design inspiration stems from the organic curves of the human figure and the beauty in simplifying forms. Over the years I’ve learned the importance of simplicity, in life and in design. Simple but significant forms create timeless design. To get a sneak peek of the process, visit my instagram.

I love a simple silhouette with a dramatic sleeve, enter my October design. Using the same double-faced, felted wool from last month’s Project de. design, I made a jacket perfect to wear on days like today. With an open front, cropped silhouette and exaggerated sleeve, there’s nothing I’d rather be wearing right now. Believe it or not, I still have more of this fabric, so don’t be surprised if you see it again next month, hehe.
