I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend! Dermot and I went upstate to his parents’ house for a long weekend of relaxation. We spent a lot of time basking in the sun and talking about Dermot’s childhood in Ireland. Dermot’s mom broke out her well-edited collection of Ray Ban sunglasses that she began collecting when they first moved to America in the 1970’s. She gifted me this pair that Dermot’s dad wore in the 1980’s. They remind me of mix between the two styles Isabel Marant designed with Oliver Peoples. The non-traditional lens shape and iconic aviator cross-bar make for a classic set of shades that I will cherish.
