Last night I attended the launch party for Spirit and Flesh Magazine, a new print magazine (wow, print, I know!) that challenges its readers to discover things beyond the page. A magazine that will inspire new thought and provoke emotion. In their première issue, they editorialize The Seven Deadly Sins, feature fashions for the Future Perfect and write about new designers and famed photographers. A new oversized glossy, sans advertisements is a rare and beautiful thing.
I love it when new prints are launched – it gives me hope that the medium will live on, even as digital grows and grows.
As with books, nothing really beats the feel of a good magazine -
