Simple September

The internet is over saturated with images, quite beautiful ones at that, but there is something about having an actual magazine in your hands and looking at the hard copy of an image that will never translate to the screen. Maybe it’s the glossy pages, or the scent of perfume ads, but either way it is intoxicating. This morning I started flipping through the September issue of Elle and I find the simple styling of the Celine Fall Ad campaign enchanting. Even though I’ve seen these images before, there was something fresh and iconic about them.The Basic Training editorial featuring minimalist styles in basic black and white is how I want to fill my Fall 2012 wardrobe.
