Tara Donovan: Transforming the Everyday Object

Tara Donovan is a Brooklyn, New York based artist who takes the mundane everyday object and turns it into ethereal sculpture. Tara’s sculptures take on an organic form, which is ironic because most of her work is born from synthetic materials. The levels of depth and shadow in her clear material sculptures can mesmerize you for days. As a designer, I am endlessly inspired by her use of form.
